ADA Access & Accommodations

American Sign Language (ASL) Interpretation Performances

We provide many American Sign Language (ASL) interpreted music performances for patrons who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. You'll be able to email requests for interpreted shows closer to the festival. The deadline to request an interpretation is one month prior to the festival each year. Requests submitted after this date will be reviewed on a case by case basis.

ADA Festival Entrance

There is a specially designated lane at the festival entrance for patrons with disabilities. Look for the wheelchair signs above the entrance lanes or ask a staff member to direct you to the lane.

Patrons are allowed to bring their medically necessary materials and medications provided all medicine has a prescription label with the patron’s name and only a sufficient supply for that day. Our medical personnel at the entry gates will verify the contents. Out of concern for the festival staff and volunteers who handle the trash, please dispose of your medical waste and syringes in the proper disposal located at the medical tent (see public map for exact locations). Please do not dispose of these items in other trash bins at the festival.

Accessibility Credentials

When you are purchasing your credentials online, please know that you do not need to purchase specified accessible tickets – all tickets are general admission, unless you choose to purchase GA+, VIP or Platinum.

You can visit the Accessibility Center for information on the ADA wristband program. If you have mobility impairments or are Deaf or Hard of Hearing you can request an Accessibility wristband at the Accessibility Center. This wristband is to show our team that you (plus one companion) are eligible to enter the accessible viewing platform or the Deaf and Hard of Hearing areas. Note: the wristband does not guarantee a spot in these areas. Both areas have a limited capacity and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The wristband is non-transferable.

Accessibility Center

The Accessibility Center is located just inside the entrance of the festival. Check back closer to the festival for a festival map.

Our Accessibility Center services include, but are not limited to:

  • Answers to questions specific to the Accessibility Program
  • Information relevant to our patrons with disabilities
  • Power outlets for recharging powered mobility devices
  • Programming information in large print and braille for reference
  • Festival map that identifies all viewing areas for patrons with mobility limitations or patrons who are Deaf / Hard of Hearing (plus one companion). Please note that special accessible viewing areas have limited capacity and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Patrons with Mobility Devices

The Festival grounds are wheelchair accessible, but please be aware that this is a large venue with great distances between stages. Also, it is an outdoor music festival situated in a park. Therefore, most travel is over natural terrain with small hills and occasional dips. If it should rain, there will be mud in some places.

We do not provide personal care, golf cart rides, or push service. Please plan ahead and bring attendants, if needed. In addition, the festival does not provide wheelchairs for rent or loan. Please make arrangements in advance if a wheelchair is needed. Wheelchairs, power wheelchairs and three or four-wheeled scooters are allowed for use by Patrons with mobility disabilities. For safety reasons, requests to use other power-driven mobility devices will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Visit the Accessibility Center for a map of the festival grounds with accessible viewing platform locations identified. The accessible viewing platforms are reserved at all times for people with mobility impairments plus one companion. Please note that these areas have limited capacity and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Accessible portalets are available at the ends of each row of restrooms throughout the park.

Service Animals

Animals and pets are not allowed within the festival grounds, however, patrons with disabilities are welcome to utilize fully trained service animals at the Festival. Service animal inquiries can be sent to

Safety & Security

We make every effort to create a safe and secure environment on the festival grounds. On-site security and emergency medical staff will be available at the festival. If you need any assistance, go to the medical tent, or look for a police officer or festival staff member.

Security Screening & Entry

For the safety of everyone entering the festival, all patrons are subject to a full and complete search prior to entry.

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to submit to a full-body pat-down before entry. If you would like to be screened by security personnel of your same gender, please let security personnel know prior to the search process. Screening of children will always take place with the consent of a parent or guardian.

All bags will be searched before entry.

Persons that refuse to comply with the search policy will be refused entry into the event.

At any time during the entry process if you have questions, ask for assistance from Festival Staff located at the front gates.
